Nice find! Do you mind if I ask how much you paid? I've been looking for something similar but I've seen a lot of overpriced V8 4Runners, or at least what I think is high. For example, 04 V8 4x4 160K for 14K.

Which keyfob case or whatever is that? I want one! Nice looking rig too, good on you for doing all the maintenance right away, she’ll easily run 500k if you keep it up. Someone correct me if I’m mistaken, but I think you have a timing belt/water pump service every 98k for the V8’s in case you didn’t know!

The previous owner had the timing belt done at around 60k I plan to do it again at around 120k based on time as it'll take me a while to get there.

I paid about $16k, they do ask for a premium in SoCal. I searched for a while and I think I got a good deal considering the low miles.
If you're patient you will find what you want.

I had bought a sprint booster off a forum member and finally hooked it up, works great.

Also ordered my white knuckle rock sliders in bare metal which I rattle canned. These are great quality pieces.

Then I finally got my Total Chaos upper control arms installed

265 is stock wheel size right? I am running 265/70/16 right now with no lift.

I haven’t posted in a while. A few quick updates;
I got a new head unit pioneer 4500nex , swapped out speakers and sub.

Also did the smokers kit and new shift knob from a Tacoma. Looks a little off but I like the way it feels in my hand.

I got new wheels

To me the tires looked too small for these wheels.
I swapped them for 285 70 17 Nitto RG and think they look much better.

I’m really liking the look now. Once it cools down I’ll head out to the desert and see how she feels.

Thanks! I actually really like my Methods but here in SoCal everyone has fake beadlock looking wheels so I was aiming for a different look. With the smaller BFGs I was not digging them but now I think they look sweet with a beefier tire on.

Good looking ride. I think we're running a similar setup. Love the Method Standard's, just put a set on last month. Great offset and good looking wheel.

Can you send a link to those rims? Looking for some new ones as I did the math wrong and I'm runninge on the sway bar with 265/70/r17...

4runner had wheel spacers which I’ve never liked so had to swap out wheels.

I went with 265 70 17 this round

This right rear control arm was bent

Had them pop a new one in

Got to take it out to the snow

Got this cool fob case

Then evened out my window tint

Got these LED bulbs recommended by a forum member

Lastly for now was some weathertech window visors

Ive got 265/70r17s too and got some new rims but I'm rubbing on the sway bar. Do you remember the specs on these rims?

I had a road trip up to Carson City to visit family for Thanksgiving. On my last oil change they noticed my ball joints were worn, so in anticipation of the trip I had the front lower control arms replaced.

The drive was pretty brutal , it snowed on the way there. We had to stay an extra day there due to icy conditions on the way back.
