SoCal BS and Rant Thread

Spray PB Plaster or WD 40 (depending on what you have) through the frame rails and onto the nut. Make sure the bolt head is dry and clean. Then put a socket on it and a breaker bar and that should do the trick.
Pb blasted the bolts for 2 days, still no sign I'll try again tomorrow if not I'll take to my friends shop to borrow his paper tools.

How did Superstition go? Anyone break anything? I saw the pictures of the Tacoma that hit that ditch... wow.

it was a great time. i didnt break anything and im pretty sure broker didnt either. but there was some tacoma carnage. that one that hit the ditch a radiator line busted and flat tires here and there. there was a great turn out and lots of fun. well worth it to me.

Twisted my rear frame and cracked a fender, but nothing that some fiberglass and a welder can't fix. Definitely found the limits of what a 2" shock vs a 2.5" can do. My rear shocks were untouchable at points in the weekend, pretty amazed at how hot they get when you work them.

:worthless

Me and my wife really like Superstition OHV but just happen that we have other outdoor errands last weekend and cannot attend our 4th Annual Superstition event. Wish someone who made to the event to share us good digital stories.

Almost forgot, I did break a few things. The fridge at high speeds doesn't do well, I broke 9 eggs and about 5 beers. No glass beer bottles, just aluminum ones. So now my fridge/tow bag smell like shitty coors light.

I know I can't wait to get that wine fridge installed. Wasn't really my plan to bring eggs but the wife had plans on camp food and i didn't argue.
Looks like you guys had fun as well.

Then when the eggs broke you blamed it on crappy rear suspension so now you have a wonderful new axle to long travel the rear with. Genius.

The few I have on my phone.

Are your rear shocks rebuildable? and will you be using them in rear axle 2.0

they are rebuildable, and no they will not be going on after the rear goes under the knife. Ill build a shock hoop and put them on the tacoma as thats what they were originally purchased for. i may sell them, if thats what your getting at.

If you might sell them, I might be interested.
