SoCal BS and Rant Thread

I'm first gonna try some f67s but they may be a little light for the runners fat ass, so I may have to rework my f67 pack and make it a custom deal. For the shocks I'm gonna punch holes in the rear floor and bring them up thu the floor outboard the frame. Make a sweet little bed cage back there and should be good to go. Since I have a wider axle now I should have plenty of room to run some big 2.5" triple tube bypasses.

Any body heading to the Long Beach Grand Prix next weekend? I plan on going both Saturday and Sunday.
 
Nope, but I'm thinking about going wheeling that weekend. I'm moving to northern Idaho at the end of May, so I want to get in one more run to Corral Canyon and one more to Cougar Buttes before I leave. Anyone down to do either of those places on the 12th or 13th?

Where in Northern Idaho? I have family in Athol, Id
 
Sweet. Do you know if there's any good wheeling up there by any chance? I'm thinking it's going to be pretty much all forest road type stuff in the warmer months, and snow wheeling in the colder ones lol. But I'm guessing there won't be much like Corral Canyon and Johnson Valley up there, unfortunately :sobbing:

I don't know. I've never brought my truck up there.
 
Nice! You wanna go the 12th or the 13th? Hopefully we can run all the 911 trails and maybe even more than that, depending on how things go.
 
If you do corral canyon the weekend after I'm up for that. That's a three day weekend for me as well. Might even try out the new tow rig by then. Just still need to pick up a trailer.

I can do April 26 and 27. Otherwise I'll be in Hawaii. No need to plan around me if that doesn't work for everyone.
