Yes. I suggest you don't go to Big Bear.
A stock 5th gen I don't believe will make it thought big bear without decent tires.
Anza and Cleghorn though.
I'm currently leaning towards Anza. Just because I know that area really well, and I don't think it'll be that hot.

Just did Cleg a couple months ago with a few other T4R dudes. Talked to my neighbor last night, and we're going to do a separate run in Big Bear on the 2nd.

I dont know if its the same spot but I just came back from cleghorn canyon off the 15 freeway yesterday, I went all along the trails and the trail by the canyon with huge drops. It was all in 2wd. Im game for anything, my tires are very low on thread though 
but ive got 4x4 and lockers so its ok lol
Hey if you are coming from pasadena meet me at my house off the 210 on your way, I am off archibald on the 210 and only 1 block off the freeway, then we hop back on and cleghorn is about 20 miles from here and u would not detour at all.
