SoCal T4R Meetup

Should we just wait for the new year? "2014 SoCal T4R Meet". Just trying to think what works best for everybody.
 
Yeah I'm interested in actually getting out and doing something small. I don't like the idea of breaking anything so I wouldn't want to do anything too crazy and being 2WD as well. But I don't think id be able to make anything too soon. And I could only do weekends.
 
I hope this goes down. I'm in for a day trip on the 22nd. I've been wheeling, but not with any T4R folks yet. I was at Calico recently...but those trails were pretty gnarly. Let me know what y'all decide!

At this point you might be right. Kind of short notice for most people. It would be best for December or January so it's enough time for everyone to get their rigs ready and have enough time to get the days off.
 
I'm down for a meetup! Not too sure on the 22nd November though, I've actually got my family visiting for the entire month from 20 Nov to 14th Dec so I can't be going too far. I'm down for short day trips though.

And as for a huge event in Dec/January, I am definitely keeping my eyes peeled for that..
 
OP should take the suggestions, set a date, time, and location in stone and just post it. Or else you will be going back and forth with suggestions and no can does till this thread eventually dies out. Also think about posting this up in the SoCal/NorCal meet section. Just my two cents...

Agreed. Pick a Place and time. Some will be able to make it and other won't. Cant cater to everyone.

Plus who wants to go on only just one trip anyway!
 
Updated the first post. Please let me know if you can attend, what days you are attending, 2wd/4wd, and if you are bringing anybody.

Pismo Beach is too far (4:45 hrs without traffic) for me on such short notice.

SoCal meet in CenCal. Doesn't that count as an oxymoron? Lol. Next one should be on a Saturday or Sunday and south of LA somewhere. That being said, have fun whoever's going!

No disrespect to TRDTeen & not trying to throw bricks lol but I agree with the comment above, it sounds cool but your thread should have been called CentralCal meet. A lot of these guys have families, jobs and other complications that make driving 5 hours + traffic for a meet impractical to say the least.
 
I am not going to be able to make this one. my suspension cant handle the dunes right now.

Ill be in for the next one.
