I just got a new 2018 4Runner so I'm going to sell my 2000 SR5 model. I’m the original owner; it’s a meticulously maintained daily driver.
- Automatic
- 4WD, 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 engine
- Desert Dune Metallic color. Paint is in excellent shape. No fading. Clear coat is great.
- Oak (tan) interior
- Non-smoker
- Seats are cloth, in great shape, no rips or tears.
- Tailgate hatch has a small crease from shopping cart ding.
- California vehicle. Recently passed California smog test.
- Very little off road, only forest service roads and occasional Sierra snow.
- 239,000 miles.
- NO rust.
- Its lived 18 years in San Jose CA.
- It's pretty much stock. All replacement parts are Toyota OEM.
- I've maintained it carefully and replaced items before they failed.
- Over the last few years it's got a new radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat, starter, plugs, plug wires, belts, valve cover gasket, air filter, fuel filter, transmission service and fluids, brake pads and rotors.
- The tires are about a year old, Michelin LTX M/S 265/70R16.
- I've been using synthetic oil for many years, changed oil and filter every 3000-5000 miles
- All internal and external light bulbs are LEDs, except the headlights which are PIAAs.
- It's been maintained by myself and the same specialty mechanic for over 16 years. I have all maintenance records.
- Everything works flawlessly.

I’m looking to give it a good home.

Nope. No color name on those documents. Every official doc refers to VIN.
However there is a paint color code number under the hood.

The layman (and policeman!) just call it "silver". :becky:

Yea, every state is different. I bought my Silver Limited from CT & it didn't have the color or the weight on the title. My NY title & regi for my Desert Dune say tan because that's what it actually is.

Very true! LOL In 2005 I put around 20k miles on her & then decided to buy a Corolla for commuting so I could keep the 4runner forever.
