Pilotmatt, yes there is a recall for it. I bought my truck used, privately. The previous owner told me about this. He actually had the 1st set replaced because of the problem, but I don't know the specific details (time frame, warranty, how bad it has to be, or what). I'm sure you can search on here and find out about it or maybe even go to Toyota.
I mention it in my ad because as far as I know it is a common issue. I was going to have mine redone even though I don't consider mine to be that bad, but then I decided to put a lift in it, and then get wheels and tires.
