Worked on 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport

I just used your writeup to program a new key in my 2014 Tacoma TRD Sport. I have the Type G key and immobilizer. Went very smooth. I posted a link to this over at tacomaworld.com.

I also have the v9.30 version (instead of the v8.3 upgrade mentioned in the write-up). Things seemed to go well but when I try to connect, it says the VIM is not responding. Is there a different .ini file for the v9.30 version do you think?

I'm about ready to uninstall v9.30, find v8.3 on-line somewhere & try that.

I'm at a loss, I've been working at this for a few days and have nothing. I think my CD is missing software and/or it is loaded differently than this write up. Anyone willing to walk me through it? Is there a way to download what I need to make my Win8 laptop work? Thanks!

The window that comes up first, asking for the software key.
I ended up uninstalling everything & trying again (3rd, 4th time); this time it took the reg entry that satisfies the license key I'm guessing & it's good now.

downloaded and it`s not working for me on win8.1
Old laptop died and new one just wont connect to interfacethat was working with XP just fine. I`ve got drivers installed and it shows in the list of available devices as Xhourse-mvci but failing to connect, damn! I hate win 8. can`t get xp on that new laptop.
