SOLVED: Is my Gas Tank Missing something? No it’s not.

This morning I saw something I hadn’t noticed since the frame swap. It looks like I’m missing a mounting fastener for the gas tank, but there’s no corresponding bolt hole that I can see.

Thoughts?

What does your gas tank look like in this spot?

I don’t have any photos of that spot from before the frame swap that I can compare it to.

After searching for some photos, I'm starting the think that they all look like mine. I wonder why there's a bolt hole there? :shrug:

It is a registration hole for manufacturing. The top and bottom halves of the tank are aligned on pins when putting the tank together.

Just make sure the front there has all 4 bolts holding the tank up (two on the tank only, two on the tank+skid).
