Some 1st gen love

A few updated pics of Tyrone with his new tires. I had 35x15x15 bias Swampers on it. LOVED the look, HATED the ride.

The bias tires would beat you to DEATH. I knew it when I bought them, but it was time for a change. Now 35x12.50x15 KM2's.

I love them. Great ride and a weight savings of 20+ pounds per corner! Rides like a Lexus and all the weight loss makes it feel like he's supercharged. Haha!

Same thing the wife said! I must admit I liked the look better with the Swampers, but it's hard not to like the KM2's for everything other than looks.

I believe in a balance of function and form.
The swampers looked cool, obviously (who'd argue) but if they weren't doin it for ya than they weren't doin it!
Truck looks awesome, and I like it more because its much more realistic! Super swampers are cool, but pretty one dimensional. That along with a ****e ride is grounds for dismissal. You truck will go as far you warrant AND ride good NOW.

Thanks guys! It really is ALOT more enjoyable to drive now. It does look different from before, but I still think it looks great. As much as I love our 2000, the first gens still rule!

Haha! Good eye brother, but not in a MILLION years!!! I was actually up at my neighbors when I took those shots, that's his truck. We've got the 1985 4runner, a 2000 4runner, a 2009 370Z and the NCSHP Charger. I'm pretty hard-core Toyota!
