I was just thinking that the other day about the headlights and tails. I've seen some guys on here have taken the headlights apart and painted the housings-- I don't know how hard this is but I 'd be willing to give it a shot. But I am right there with ya on more black

Can you give me a run-down on how you did the rear fog install? Parts, did you use a factory switch, wiring, etc.? I just got a '05 sport. Great veh. & looking to do several mods. Thanks in advance.

HELP!!!

I need some help, I just got my Dakar Light bar and mounting kit in and tried to mount it up and can not figure out how to do it. The installation instructions are not very clear. If you could maybe walk me through the part of the installation that mounts to the 4runner that would be very helpful.

For me to try to explain it would take a LOOONG explanation. When you lay under the 4runner and look up in between the bumper and the rad area, you're gonna see some existing bolts that need to come out. That is where the new hardware/mounting bracket is going to go. The long "tuning fork" looking things (I don't know how to describe them), go through the bumper insert to attach to the bracket. If you and a buddy sit there and configure them around, it should be self explanatory. I had no problems with any mounting besides where the insert had to be trimmed to go through the bumper. I don't know if this helped you at all- but yea i know what you mean on the instructions-they were very vague. Good luck man, and if you have any other questions let me know but it's hard to explain via typing rather than showing. I'll see if I can get up in there and take some pictures for you.
