SOMERSET E3 Pop up ???

I'm a stones throw from buying a new Somerset E3 pop up camper with deck. Here are some specs: 2908 dry weight, 4400 GVRW, 385 TW, 21.5 feet long closed.

My question and concern is weight and comfort in my 4Runner for the family. 2 adults, 2 teens and a dog.

I'll be adding a WD hitch to assist. I think my dreams of traveling the Moab are done and I'll just stick to the east coast for now. I think boon docking is now my fall back plan. I've been back and forth with off road teardrops and RTT, IntTech Max Flyer 5*10 w/ RTT.... It's been an exhausting search, but I think this trailer will meet all our needs and then some with the least amount of setup.

So...anyone towing something similar? Could you please share your experiences
and concerns with this setup.

Thanks for your input.

Funny you ask this question. I'm going to pick my somerset e3 up tomorrow.
We've looked at the full range of RV's and have decided on the e3. It'll make it up into the hills. But the e3 isn't roughing it. My 5th gen will tow it no prob. I had a jayco tent trailer and I towed it with my v8 4th gen. Towed it no prob. And that didn't even have a wd hitch and it had surge brakes. I'm sure with a wd hitch and electric brakes with a controller it will tow like a dream.
