I have a pair of Bilstein 5100 Rear shocks from my Sonoran Steel 1.2 Kit. The shocks were installed in 2008 and have had very light offroad duty (maybe 5 trips onto dirt), otherwise just around town driving in Socal.
One of the shocks is in perfect working condition with just normal cosmetic dirtiness, and the other has a slow leak and would need to be repaired.
These shocks end in H5, which according to Steve at SS are the best valved Bilsteins for our 4Runners that were ever made. Now they make H7's which are very soft; this is why Steve came out with the 1.2A kit with Tokico's, which are firmer valved than the H7 Bilsteins.
I don't have the know how to repair a shock and have not contacted Bilstein to find out if they can repair the leaking shock. A pair of new Bilsteins is $200 from Sonoran Steel. I'm selling the pair for $50, knowing that potentially only 1 shock is usable. If you have a SS kit from 2008-2010, it's possible you have these shocks (you can check the shock body). Would make a good cheap trail spare, or a cheap pair if you have a resource to repair a leaking shock.
