My 98 has a problem where I slid on ice at the end of my driveway. The ABS kicked in and front tires studdered but back wheels roll like the brake wasn't even on.adjusted the rear drums to where I had to give it gas to move in drive or reverse still did it. Pads are good and clean in the drums parking brake works and I did try to reverse while pulling the hand brake. Also when it is in 4WD the back wheels will lock up. Any tips? Besides having problems stopping an 8' trailer with one 4wheeler and having a 4 year old I would like to address this. Thanks

Have you bled the brake lines yet? If there's air trapped in the rear lines or a high amount of sediment it will reduce the braking power. Since the rear lines are longer, it would be worse than the front.
Does your brake fluid reservoir look clear and yellowish or brown/black? If it's dark it's time for a brake fluid flush/bleed.

Yes lines are good and no bubbles when bled. Think my next step is master cylinder and there about.
