ok so i have been looking around for a bumper for quite some time now and i have come to the conclusion that i love the tube style bumper the best, with pre-runner hoops. i like savage off-road's tube bumper the best but with all the desired accessories and 185$ shipping...the price was out of my league, for a 17 year old. i came around to asking my neighbor with a welder if he could like help me make one but he said why not buy a cheaper one that is massed produced for a jeep or wrangler. and bamm!!! i landed myself a 250$ smittybilt pre-runner style tube bumper. all we have to do is weld on a 2X4 inch steel pipe, drill some holes and viola, i have my self a bada$$ bumper. all i have to do is wait for it to come in now :/ ..tik tok

I'm also looking for a cheap bumper. I just turned 20 yesterday hehe. I like your idea. What I really want is an ARB bumper, but I wouldn't mind a regular brushguard either.. But I have spent $270 on shocks recently. My family pays for most of everything, but I don't like asking money for things that are just for my own pleasure. So I'd like to see how your idea goes. Although I'm pretty bad myself about posting pics when I start threads, please do post pics if you attempt this. BTW I'm also in Atlanta.

i will deffinetly let you know how it goes and the overall cost of it. being my age mostly all of the things i get come from a lot saving up from birthday money or weekend jobs. parents don't pay for anything any more after first suspension lift and wheels/tires. all out of my wallet :bash: . if you ever want to go hit some trails let me know. I'm in marietta and i usually go to cumming, which has great mudd bogs and trails.

Definitely man. I live near Tech. I'm from further down south (Americus, GA) and I didn't know there where any good trails near Atlanta. I'll pm you some time. I'm gonna be busy this month with exams, but after that I'll be free. It'll be fun testing my new tokico shocks and struts :)
