Looking at a 2018 TRD Offroad Premium. 104K on the clock. Looks nice and clean.
They are asking $30K for it. It it worth it? Owners know.....

Thanks, Johnny

Looking at Cargurus for 2018-19 TRD off road premium's that seems like a 'good' deal. There are 'great' deals on cargurus for similar vehicles but you have to read the fine print on some of the listings. Like "$899 processing fee and $399 doc fee!" added to a great deal listing. Or it was a rental, or wrecked a few times, or from a rust inducing state.

Seems blue and red 4runners bring a little less money, some don't want white due to paint issues.

New ORP is $46K to $49K. The first 100K miles are the easiest, trouble free, little to no repairs. IMO they are worth the $16K to $19K additional for a new one.

There's other considerations too. Are you financing it? If so, would you get a better interest rate on new than used?

Do you care about the features/improvements that a 2024 ORP has over a 2018 ORP?

Did that used 2018 ORP have a perfect service history, no accidents, no rust, all that?

At first I thought that was a bit high, but then I looked up how much used TRD Pros cost and it actually seems like a decent deal.
But you need to be ABSOLUTELY SURE that there isn't much rust. Preferably when you look underneath you want to see an oil undercoating of some kind. If you don't see that, definitely take a closer look.

Hopefully you are prepared to deal with everyone saying "You paid THAT MUCH for a car over 100k miles?!" when you tell them, though.

It's not a pro though :wow:
