Sound system type?

:horn:Bought my '04 SR-5 used, without manual, and can't identify if system is premium JBL or single or double DIN and this is needed to replace with usb capable unit. How can I identify? It just says Toyota on face but does have rear speakers and sure sounds premium.

The headunit should say JBL on it, the doors should say JBL on the speaker grilles and there should be a sub in the cargo area. Sounds like it isn't the JBL, especially since it is an SR5. If it sounds that good, previous owner may have upgraded the door speakers. First thing I did when I got mine

By rear speakers, did you mean in the cargo area on the rear pillars?

As far as I now, all of the headunits in the 4th gen 4Runner are double DIN. If the headunit is more than ~3" tall it is double din. Regardless, of what it has now, it'll fit a double DIN headhunit.
