TRDCal; Thanks for all the help! A new ´14 model year "limited" (which I am guessing is an SR5 with a couple more accesories like mine) will set you back close to 80k. Cars here are incredibly expensive and have excesive amounts of taxes! Colombia is a very TOYOTA oriented country, given the condition of our roads people love their reliablity and off road capability to get to wherever they need to go.

As far as the lift and after market accesories, thanks for the recomendations! I have actually bit the bullet on a few of them! I put in the OME 885 and 895E lift with billies all around, replaced the aftermarket unit for an Alpine IVE W530, got my weathertechs from amazon and upgraded most of my interior lighting to LED. :thumb3:

Definitely going to look into bending the exhaust as the smell of the smoke is pretty rough with the rear window down.

Great advice on the Ultragage and the size of the rotors! Now I have to go rim and tire shopping!

By the way, I am on my way to pick up the 4R from the shop, Im getting a custom roof rack installed! I will post pics as soon as I can.

Yup, definitely a South American 4runner... its located in Bogotá, Colombia... south america. Shipping is rediculous, its not even worth getting a quote. Plus I would want the 16" in addition to my 17s. That way I can swap them out whenever I have an expedition.

Rig is still in the shop, apparently the paint for the roof rack took longer than expected. Will definitely pick it up today and post pics!

So I finally got it back from the shop. Full roof rack with insert and movable bar to secure cargo. Rigid sr30" bar and black matte paint... How do you like it? I'm pretty happy with it and holly $@&! this thing is bright!

Differences

And Limiteds have auto dimming rear view mirror and heated side mirrors, but can't see in photos. Unusual car for sure.

So I found another difference. My ride has NO traction control whatsoever... I can engage 4WD and 4LO but thats it.

In order to fix that, I think I need your help. I was looking into Detroit Locker TrueTrac system (for the rear) and leave the front as is. If I need it I would add the ARB lockers up front. Here´s where I need your help, can anyone help me with identifying my rear differential in order to order the correct TrueTrac part? I dont want to get things wrong with the shipping and duties and what not.

Also, if anyone has another cost efective option to add slip control, I would love to hear it! Thanks!

Having lived in South America (Venezuela), and owned Toyotas back then and now in the US I can tell you that there are lots of differences between the same models there and the US. The same happens with European, Japanese and Australian models. Each one is adapted to the final destination. It is normal to have hybrids such as this one, where they mix SR5 and Limited parts and then they are marketed as whatever they feel people will like to buy them as. They also tend to mix different engines with different transmissions and axles. At the end it's a lot about marketing and costs. And don't think that the models there are always lacking features, in some occasions they have more advanced features.
I had a Land Cruiser back home that had a massive GM Dana rear axle on it from factory. The truck was assembled in Japan, but the axle was adapted in Venezuela.
Also, the US has a lot of regulations that make our engines fairly complicated when it comes down to emissions.

Hola Alberto... can you post pictures of your axle. Pics from the back, front and ends (w/o tires). Also, how many bolts does the 3rd member have? There are a lot of knowledgeable members here that should be able to help you with the right pictures.
