Southeastern PA-tire fitment

Random question, but I’ve seen back and forth, over and over. Do 275-70-17’ AT’s fit a 4th gen without a BL? I have a cornfed 3/2 on fj wheels and 255/80/17 BFG MT’s that are pretty much slicks. Only have had slight rubbing in reverse at full lock. I’m trying to decide next tire setup. Anyone close willing to let a test fitment would be amazing. I’m located a little north of Philly.

So you're looking for someone that already has 275s? Would help but don't have them :/

If you can trim plastic and do a BMC you don't need a BL I had 285/70R17s on before the 285/75R17s that I have now and they fit with barely any rubbing. No BL just some trimming and 5100/885/SPC setup up front with Icon 2" out back. These new tires are a bit harder to squeeze but its not terrible

If you're sticking with the FJ wheels, they should fit, with minor trimming.

If you add spacers or go to a wheel with less (or negative) offset, you might have some additional rubbing to contend with.
