installed my Southern Style Speed Hybrid bumper today.

Wow, that really looks nice. Swinging by their website I see that you can get a channel cut in above the winch fairlead to mount a recessed light bar too. Thanks for the pictures, think I'm going to order this one.

You mentioned that you are using the VR10k, was there more room for a larger winch in there? I ask as I have a Zeon 10k with a solenoid relocation kit here that I'd like to put in there if it would fit.

as far as the winch size goes, there is plenty of room down there, but i'm having problems trying to mount my control box. not many options down there for the box.
 
I'm first in line if someone decides to sell their SSS bumper and go with a full replacement bumper.

Mine went on the passenger side support strut above the winch that holds the upper nose piece in place.

I can't find one on the Warn website, but is it possible to wire in a solenoid relocate kit so that you can bring the solenoid under the hood? The winch I have is so large that I knew i was going to have to use a relocate kit so I bought one already as I want to use it for my Tacoma bumper that is on the way. But seeing your 4Runner bumper I'd love to put an identical winch inside of it as well.

Nice, Those Come-Up winches are sweet, friend of mine has one and it blew me away that it came with an alarm built in.

Question: is that the matte powdercoating, and if so, how does it look and how did it hold up in shipping? Seem durable and well done?

the powdercoating is pretty stout, no issues yet. i drove down to their place to pick it up but if you have it shipped, they put them on a crate.

i'm running mickey thompsons mtz p3's in 285/70/17 on 9 inch wide rims. no spacers involved. i did have a cab mount chop and had to trim a bit of the plastic bumper cover.
 
I am totally naive about winches and would very much like to get a SSS bumper or a hidden winch mount. How does one engage the clutch or connect the winch controller when your winch is hidden behind the bumper like yours? It looks like there is no easy access to the winch.
