Spacer lift question about rear shocks

Hey guys, so my rear shocks are just about done. The 4runner bounces way too much from the rear and I'm looking to fix this issue. There is also a noticeably known sag leaning in the rear. I have a 2.5 spacer lift (I was young and broke and went the cheap route) and was wondering what shocks would be the ones to replace them with since the spacers in the rear ones are technically making the truck extend the current shocks on.

Before you call everyone on here a jerk after less than 2 hours of waiting...

What do you use your rig for primarily? On road? Off-Road? That would be my first question.

A very popular mod on the 3rd Gen is to use the FRONT coils from an FZJ80 LC. Depending on what year LC, they have many different height options.

I chose to use the LC 8 wrap coils, with the LC OEM Shocks. This is often a cheap yet extremely reliable setup. I bought my coils used for $60, then paid $80 from the dealership for the shocks. It rides awesome and has a TON of flex. The coils probably gave me 3.5-5 inches of rear lift.

But, I was once also young and broke, and I have run 3 inch spacers in the rear. The reason I stopped using that setup was that I found out that over time with use coil spacers actually compress and shorten your coils, which creates the sag.

So, short answer, just get taller springs. There are numerous options (OME, LC coils, Toytec) but if you want a long lasting reliable lift, get taller springs.

They have this really cool thing now called the Interwebs. You can use it to find all sorts of stuff like longer shocks for a 2.5" lifted rig.
