Spacer Lift

I have an 04 white 4Runner 4x4 Limited and I would like to give it anywhere from about a 1.5 to 2.5 inch lift. I am just in high school so I don't have much money I don't want to spend any more than about 250 dollars. I want it mostly for looks so I am thinking spacer but I don't know for sure. I know the car is all stock and I doesn't look level, and I am very new to car mods an I don't even know where to start, I just want to give it a little height and level it out. I am interested in doing some 4weeling and maybe getting bigger tires, and I don't know would I need a lift for that, and would just a front spacer lift be enough to be able to put some bigger tires on it. Again I know next to nothing about cars but I would like to do the work my self to learn and to keep the cost down.

All the information youre looking for and then some is in there. also, if its not in that thread, a quick search will yield plenty of information on the actual disassembly and install of the kit, and many spacer lift kits have downloadable instructions which are usually very clear and easy to understand
