For those who have taken their runners off-road with the spacer lift, how is it?

When I ran the Cornfed 3/2 spacer lift I noticed it was a little harsher than stock and limited downward travel. It greatly increased ground clearance and for me this far outweighted the negatives.

I just read one of the forums recently that someone went on an FJ trail ride and most of them were running spacer kits and handled everything fine.
My opinion is that for off roading it would be fine , heavy duty flexing , rock climbing ...no. Thats what I read , I do not have a kit and no first hand experience with it ....yet.
There is an FJ that I see frequently that has a 3" (?) spacer kit and he off roads all the time. He told me he bought it to beat it . Its that black cherry color , I love it but have never seen it clean , it actually even looks beat up.
Bottom line depend what your needs are , I personally would feel more comfortable with spacers on a daily driver. Biggest thing that holds me back , it I drive 25k per year, and dont want to give up my Xreas , but still off road as much as I can.

i'll be the first to say that I didnt notice that much of a difference.
My susp. upgrades have only opened MORE doors to enjoyment as far as im concerned. I tossed around the spacer idea way early on (NE days) but not for long.
I take on/off ramps just as fast is i did/would've with the xreas, but then again i never drove it like it was a speedracer, it is an SUV... however i can understand u not wanting to give that cool factory option up. but ive yet to look back
