Spare tire fitment

In lieu of a upcoming purchase of a TRD Pro, i wanted to see if a TRD Wheel and the 265/70 Nitto will fit under the vehicle in the spare tire location?

Why would it not? I did a quick search and found tires of different sizes and wheel types fit.

yes it will fit, my 285/70r17 tire fit up their with a little room to SPARE... (pun intended) :drum:

My 285/70/17 fits, therefore yours will be just fine with plenty room to spare.

So I picked up a Hankook Dynapro A/T 285/70/17 for $10 today with about 70% thread left to put on my spare. Just got to America's tire and first thing the guy tells me is it won't fit. I told him, I'mmmmmm pretty sure it will fit. It's worn down even. Let's see how this goes.

Was he talking about the SR5 rim with a 285? That's out of spec for width on the Toyota rim, unless you got a 5th Mojave, but plenty of others say it fits under the truck.

I took it as not fitting under the truck. But everything got mounted and fit up there without issue. I've seen lots of others with same tire size on the stock spare.

It's just not to spec. for the stock wheel and tire combo, doesn't mean you can't do it. I ran into that when I had the stock 20" wheel, discount wouldn't even mount anything else so I just got rid of the wheels which I had planned on anyway.
