Spare tire size ???

I am putting bigger tires on 285/60/18. Will my 265/65/17 spare still be okay? What will happen if I drive on this spare? Should I upgrade to closer size?

Nope. You have a V8 which means full time 4wd.

You want all your tires to be the same size.

When you buy tires, buy 5 and rotate in the spare in your normal tire rotation.

Costs more yes.. but your tires will also last 20% longer. Thats what I do.

Nah dude. You need to upgrade the spare to an 18 at least also.

O.D. is the key... A 17" tire that has the same O.D. will work fine. Width doesn't matter,,,
