Spark plug change interval V8

What is the "real" change interval on the spark plugs for the 4.7 V8 in our 4th generation V8 4runner? I've seen every thing from 60K miles on the older 4.7 V8's to 120K on the newer V8's with the iridiam plugs (saw this over on a thread at ClubLexus) I would think we have the same plugs in our V8's as the ones they use in the GX470's since both vehicles are built in the same factory in Japan. In the maintance guide that came with my 4runner, it states under the 60K miles service, plugs should be changed at 60K miles on all SUV/Trucks except Landcruiser. But the Landcruiser uses the same engine with the same HP and Torque rating as the V8 used in our 4runners. I don't understand can someone explain???

"The V8 in the Cruiser and the one in the 4Runner both use the same plug. It is irridium (sp?). The V6 Runner is not, I wonder if you are seeing a V6 interval instead of a V8?"

I emailed a top Toyota Parts guy on the Landcruiser site I belong too and above is his response. Looks like even though the maintance guide that came with my 2004 4runner indicated that the plugs/tune-up should be done at 60K miles, since our 4runners have the irridium plugs they are good for 120K miles. That should save everyone some $$$.
