Spark plug change problems?

Hi there I just got an account on here and am new to doing my own car maintenance. I have a 2002 2wd SR5 T4R 108,000 miles. I just replaced the spark plugs and wires for the first time, which it looked like the first time ever for the car. I used Denso dual prong plugs and ngk wires. I have noticed quite a difference in performance now, throttle response much better, the car really gets up and goes now, and it starts easier and idles much lower now. Which is where the problem arises.

When im in park or in Drive with my foot on the brake, every 5-8 seconds the engine will vigorously vibrate/shake for a quick second, I can feel it vibrate my seat. While driving though everything is smooth. Itook everything apart and made sure I screwed in all the plugs and that the wires were all the way in.
If somebody knows anything about this the info would be much appreciated.
Thanks

no CEL? do you need to adjust your throttle cable? or is it electric throttle since its a 02. vacuum leak somewhere? what about doing some more cleaning, IAC, MAF.

let me know...

Maybe a throttle sensor? It also sounds like it could be a cylinder misfire. I had this issue where the cylinder misfired at idle, but when I drove around it was fine...eventually it became a constant misfire. I switched that particular cylinder plug from Denso to NGK and it was fixed. Might also want to double check your wires and make sure they are plugged into the correct coil pack.

Pull the battery cables off and let stand for 15 minutes. I like to hit the brake pedal a few times to drain out any stored juice in the electronics. This resets the ecm. Let the truck relearn the fuel mapping fromzero.

If you didn't unplug the battery while you were doing the plugs, I think coffee is on to something. Also, I'm a big fan of trying the easiest fix first. :)

Also double check that your wires are routed correctly. Its an easy and common mistake that would cause a misfire.

check wire bud..

Take a look at this and make sure they are correct. I'll admit it, the first time I did the wire is had them wrong. It ran like hell until I did it correctly and my mechanical skills are pretty good for the most part.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Check the vacuum lines for cracks, perhaps you knocked one loose while doing the spark plug and wires.

Also if sounds or feels like it's choking it could be a dirty or bad MAF. Mine did similar things and the MAF sensor was black. Cleaned her up with MAF cleaner and disconnected the negative on the battery and pulled the EFI fuse. The engine ran great after everything was put back together.

Hey man, I just replaced my spark plug cables and wires last Saturday, and Monday, my car had the EXACT same problem as yours. I quickly rushed over to a mechanic that I know and had him look at my engine. Turns out, it was a loose spark plug wire.. check to see if your connections are tight!

I appreciate all the help guys I'm gonna check the wiring first and make sure its all connected and wired correctly. I'll chime back in when I try.

So I finally got around to it and here's what I did,
I cleaned the MAF and I sprayed throttle body cleaner in the throttle while moving the butterfly open and close. So far it has only done the shaking once since I did it. The car reved real high for about a day though, I'm sure due to the cleaner being sucked in the engine but it isn't doing it anymore now so its ok. But now I have noticed something else. When I actuate the throttle the metal plate in the throttle doesn't open all the way. It only goes up about half of the halfway line...
