I just turned 160k on my 4Runner yesterday and this thing is running great. Getting a little colder out now, I thought I would check the anti-freeze temp last night just to make sure. When I popped the hood I noticed a boot off one of the spark plugs. It doesn't seem to have effected the run ability of the vehicle but I just cant leave it like it is. I tried pulling on the wire but it seemed like it was attached and maybe one piece or something, didn't want to come off. I want to change all the wires and plugs now but I'm just wondering if there is something I need to know about doing this. Shouldn't that wire just pop off there, ratchet the plug out, install new plug, pop wire on and done?
Sorry for the stupid question but I'm just not sure. Thanks
