Speaker Size Question

I'm a new member to this forum, and I've been reading on a lot of fantastic information here. I just purchased a 2004 SR5, V8 that has the stock CD/Cassette radio, not the 6 disc changer. I want to do some audio upgrades. I was first going to start out with speakers. Does anyone what speakers fit in the front doors and the rear doors? Also, are there any particular speakers that are highly recommended from you guys? Thanks!

fronts are 6x9's with 1 inch tweeters and rears are 6.5's. i would recommend mb quarts, infinities, boston acoustics, or kenwoods. it all depends on how much you want to spend. i would also recommend getting 6.5 inch components for the front. that way you can replace the tweeter too. there are several people who modded the 6.5s to fit in the front. do a search on this forum....it's a relatively easy mod.

Crutchfields says they haven't measured this vehicle. Nor have they done so in the last year I had this truck.

I ran it for mine and it gives the measurements. Is there a reason that the 2004 model would use different speaker sizes than the 2003 model?

I have a 04 SE V6 and went to best buy to look for speakers. they told me i have 6.5 in the front doors and the rear doors too...
