My speed dials have self deleted three times in the last few weeks. Anyone else experiecing this option?
Forgive my ignorance, but what are speed dials?
we're referring to "Speed Dials" saved onto the factory Nav unit's phone interface. after transferring your contacts via BT, you can set up ~18 speed dials that can be accessed on the touchscreen even while the truck is in motion.Forgive my ignorance, but what are speed dials?

for some reason, the Nav keeps deleting these "presets"...
Who'd a thunk. I didn't even know my nav had that capability. Guess I need to read the manual....again.

Big Red, we have got to meet for lunch one day so I can show you what all your truck can do. You would really be surprised. Let me know when you are available.
:hungry:
Anyone else had this problem and determined a fix? Other than dealing with the dealership....
so, i rolled back my Nav DVD to v 9.1 today and re-paired my iPhone 5 (phone only; not as a BT music player). i re-entered a couple Speed Dials to see what happens. gonna give it a little time to see what happens. don't hesitate to nudge me if i don't update here.I got the upgrade NAV DVD and now that I think about it, that was when this started happening. I need to dig into that, as the new version ($150) didnt really do anything for me anyway. Good call.
