Speedometer needle broke

So I was adjusting my needles on my gauge cluster and the peg on the back of the speedometer needle broke off. I have been looking online for about a hour and haven't had any luck finding a replacement. Is there somewhere that anyone knows of to find just the needle?

you doing more leds?

No, I was adjusting my gas needle from when I took it apart the other day and I was adjusting the speedometer needle too and when to put it back on and it broke. I am gonna try and find someone local to who can do the gauge cluster in led for me. Haven't had any luck yet.

I don't see how you can "adjust" the needles... they're computer controlled, at the very least you'll offset them, at the very worst... well you broke it already.

You're better off finding a used cluster, Toyota doesn't sell those parts and there are very few companies that offer OEM gauge replacements and even fewer that offer parts, if any.

You can adjust the stops by turning them counter clock wise. like when you do the gauge swap you have to take them off and reset the stop points

I know you can get needles somewhere...

yea my speedometer needle was off a little and my OCD got the best of me and when I tried to take it off the little stem on the back broke off. I fixed it though, found the stem in the floorboard and superglued it back together.

ZombH8R,

Was the brake in the stem for your speedo visible?

I recently changed my gauge cluster from black to white and when I put the needles back I snapped the fuel gauge stem below the surface. My fear in gluing it is that it'll never spin again. I'm curious if you had to push the back half out the back of the board in order to glue it back together and if that's even possible without causing it to malfunction.

mine broke right where the stem and the base of the needle meet. I glued it back together and haven't had a problem since.
