Spenedwrds build #3

Yea I painted mine too. And I did what you did and put them in the corners.

one problem i had was i had to notch out a part of the mounting plate so the AC hard line would clear. it was like a .5X2" cut out i had to do. so it would slide in place all the way. did you have to do the same thing?

Also whats your hub to fender measurements for the front and rear? can you automatically subtract the 2" for your body lift? im trying to figure out what my lift is at right now. it currently sits at 23.75 on all 4 corners.

Surprising not. I didn't have to do anything which I found was really weird because every where I asked people said I would have to and I never did. So idk how that happened.

And I can measure it tommorrow. I don't know right off the top of my head

Thanks man! Yea they clean up so good! I love them but I just got a new job at a dealership and can get a discount on new wheels. Just kind of ready for something aftermarket.

Thinking about these

Was browsing your build then saw this. 1st off, clean runner. Secondly, I have these rims on my Millennium Silver 01 LOVE them. Look at mine if you want a reference to how they look on the rig, or i can send you some side shots as well. My runner only has a spacer lift though, so I'm not rolling near as much meat as your gonna be. lol

Cool I'll have to take a look!!! Looked all over the Internet and could never find them on a 3rd gen.

Same here, I could only find them on trucks. I bought them right after christmas when I decided I couldn't wait for new tires any longer. The only thing I don't like about them is the lug holes are skinny and scratch easily if you let the impact gun/socket make contact at all. Besides that, great wheel.

Heck yea man. They look awesome. Saw them on a jeep at the dealership I work and really liked them. Mind posting more side shots? Also mind me asking how much u paid for them?

I only have one side shot, its my avatar. Here's the full size pic. Ill take another one tomorrow for you. And with the pricing, I paid $1850 for them with new Toyo open country A/T 285/70/17's. I work for a dealership also, ordered them through our local shop. Les Schwab wanted $2385..I couldn't run away fast enough. lol.

Let me know what you think. P.s. In retrospect, I wish I Han gone wider with the tires and gotten wheel spacers. I think it would look a bit better/more aggressive with a wider stance.

Installed footwell lights today. Tapped into my dome light so they come on when the doors open.

Got the wheels mounted! Now I just need a rear bumper or paint the chrome and I think it will look complete.

What do you guys think?

The new wheels look great on your rig. I've always been a fan of that wheel, especially the machined part on the inside if the spokes really sets it apart from other black wheels. Nice work

98LtdT4R wake_rider thanks guys! Yea that's exactly what I was thinking about them. The machined part breaks it up a little, not so boring. It really does set them apart.

4runner is looking good. Got any pictures of your finished sliders?

thanks man! i have one or two i can take more if you'd like.

also did a really cheap mod (electrical tape eye lids) and disabled my DRL. luckily in the 2000s all it takes is unplugging a plug and doesn't require snipping wires.
