hey look your alive lol
been waiting on a update
how much power were you able to make already
I couldn't tell you exact numbers. I haven't had it dynod yet. The guy that had the kit before me said that he got close to 305 hp. I'm not sure how close I am as I have a different turbo than he did. But I'd say I'm close. The power is very noticeable
Been stalking this build for a little over a year before making an account and that is one mean looking T4R, I love the projector retrofit/grill combo. Keep us posted on the HP of that turbo
You and me both man. I've got a good amount of things to do before it'll see a dyno but I would really like to see some numbersgotcha well cant wait to see when you get it on a dyno to see the hp gains
Had to read back a bit... You are boosted? If so, maybe you are getting excessive blow-by and pressurizing the crankcase.
Also, did you use OEM gaskets?

Could be. But it does it at idle. I haven't even got it out of the garage cause it smokes so bad. Hopefully that's not meaning bigger problems ha
Is it smoking because there was left over oil on exhaust components or is it coming out of the exhaust
At first it was. Think I narrowed it down to a cracked valve cover. I guess I'll have to tear it down for the 4th time to change those guys out. Anyone know where to get new valve covers cheap? 120 a piece is what I've seen so far
Looks like the 'rock has Dorman covers for $124, you can get OEM from Amayana for $114. Not sure what Camelback, etc. would have them for...

Nice build BTW!
Ah, the old "1 ft-lb too much torque" problem... Let's hope that fixes it.At first it was. Think I narrowed it down to a cracked valve cover.
