Spidertrax Spacers and Anxiety

Have mine on now for about 5K’s now. Mark the bolts with paint so when you rotate tires you can quickly tell if any backed out. But if you cleaned the factory threads before red loctiting, you’ll be fine. Mine have not moved at all and I don’t suspect them to move.

If you're so worried, take them off?

I ran them on my titan for 50-60k miles. never had an issue.

i had spidertrax spacers put in 1.25" ones, my wheels originally -8mm offset

Well my anxiety just went up a little bit lol.

Nah man it's pretty simple. Turn that anxiety into activity. Be proactive like the other guys said and check the torques when you rotate. Spidertraxx wouldn't be risking wrongful death lawsuits if the wheels just flew off after proper installation. No sweat!

I marked mine with install paint and can see if they move.....50K and no issue. They work by the clamping action on the mating surface with proper torque. The cause of an issue will be the lack of torque allowing the rotation of the spacer which will shear the lugs. Simple......torque it and if it stays tight there will be no failure of the spacer. Same applies to the wheel lug and surface.

Don't mean to steal your thread but am unable to start a new one on this forum. I have a 4th gen with 0 offset wheels and 295/70/17 mts. Its currently rubbing on the frame just a bit at full steering lock and am considering running spidertrax 1.25" spacers (new wheels are not an option for now). My concern is how much of the fender ill have to trim to stuff the tires with the extra width. already did a bmc and flattened the pinch welds. With the 1.25" spacers and 0 offset it should be around -30mm of total offset.
