Spindle hitting coil

After experiencing a *clunk* in the front end I found that the inside of the spindle is contacting the coil spring. I assume that the previous owner who installed the SS 1.2 lift didn't rotate the coil correctly and that's why it hits. The coils are old enough now that there's no paint marks so I'm not sure how to rotator the coils to fix this. Any ideas?

Yeah I spent about 6 hours reassambling my front end to get them perfectly aligned, theres a video on youtube, where this guy with a texan accent explains where to rotate them to if you are on the second perch, ive ridden on the first second and third perches, and they all need to be in a different spot on each side, the higher the perch, the tighter the space gets as well. anyways its worth it once its done, for a while mine were hitting pretty hard and every drop off in the road I could feel them hitting, after rotating them and dropping them to the lowest perch it rides like a cadillac.

Anyways you need to disassemble the coilovers to do it, which is why it takes so darn long. go to autozone and get the coil compressor, you'll need all the tools you needed to install them as well.
