I purchased this beautiful 1999 4Runner Limited 4X4 two years ago 100% stock from an elderly guy for $5,000 cash. Practically mint condition and dealer maintained. It had 222,000 at time of purchase

How it looked when I first got it (minus the roof rack):

Today (248,000):

The Build:

Roof Rack
Brush Guard

Spotlights
Tint
Tail Light Guards
TRD Rims
Plasti-Dipped Emblems

Interior Mods:
Pioneer Audio System with blue tooth and backup camera
All Weather Floor Mats

Back to TODAY
Finally removed the running boards after much hesitation
Added 6 spot lights to the roof
Plasti-Dipped the chrome lip on the TRD Rims

Mechanically I have replaced:
Timing belt
Water pump
Full tune Up
Rear axel seals
Inner tie rods
Valve cover gasket

Future Plans:
Eventually get rid of that brush guard and maybe find one down the road that fits better.

I love driving this rig around! I go to school at the University of Arizona but am from LA so drive the 600 miles each way accross the desert in 115 degree weather (sometimes towing) and its never let me down.

Also have this, a 2001 Acura TL Ive had since I was 16 and dont plan on ever selling it. Dont drive it much (about 3,000/year) and the 4Runner is my Daily Driver

Yeah my rig is super clean I baby it like no other and pretty happy the way it is....like mentioned im not super happy the way my brush guard sits so want to eventually get a new one but other then that no real plans!

Sweet rides. I also have a 2007 TLS. Not planning to sell it either. Its collection g dust. I love both vehicles.

Looks clean! How hard was the installation of the backup cam? I've got that option on mine and have considered it, but not really sure if I want to go through the effort.

I had to fork over some cash to get that done but well worth it. I love it, super easy to back up at night cuz of my dark tint, and I can go right up to my trailer with my tow ball and be perfect the first time. I love the "cool" factor of it and have one in my Acura also just for fun. Im not a woman driver so I dont "need it" ;)
