Hi guys my name is Jacob i live in Raliegh NC. I just picked up my first $runner on January 26. Its a 1997 limited with factory diff lock.

i have wanted a t4r for about 5 or 6 years now after i got rid on my Taco.
It had a 3 inch lift on 30's LT set up 2wd

but now i have my t4r :eyebrows:

my first day driving it i went and picked up my fathers stock 2016 wheels of his taco. Went straight to discount tire got them mounted balanced.

So sunday i went to LKQ and found a 2005 v8 AWD t4r and it had a factory trans cooler. I got it for about $18 a lot cheaper than the B&M one. Hope it works great especially that i am going to run it in line with the radiator.

Today my key fob case came in. It is really nice to have my key fob on my keys and not rolling around in my pockets or getting lost

Sunday i also got married, But before hand i went to LKQ with my brother and then on a little ride on a random trail lol.

Guess she can flex a little bit for being stock

Today i woke up a bit early and decided to put some stupp in my rear cubby.

Also threw in my OEM Lexus (Toyota) first aid kit.

i was able to fit :
jumper cables
1 can of fix a flat
1 safety reflective jacket
1 nylon tow rope
2 axle straps
3 random bungee cords

So as i wait for my lift to come in i been looking for another set of 17's to use with bigger tires. Since these '16 taco wheel belong to my father i do not want to go wheeling with them and risk damaging them. I also been trying to trade off my 18x9 0 offset lenzo wheels i have. but i haven't had any luck. So 18's it is for now

While at work i was bored last night and decided to put in my spare double din and retire the old alpine that came with my t4r. While in there my climate control light was dead so i replaced it with a spare white led i had

Also today i ordered OEM valve cover and oil pan gaskets along with a thermostat

so yesterday i 2 big boxes came in. supersized my lift came in exactly on time.
A big thanks to [MENTION=87036]YotaDan[/MENTION] from wheelers offroad. Just like i read and every one posted i recived a bag of candy in each box.

So i took a trip to LKQ Sunday cause i saw they had a 2000 limited that was wrecked.

I ended up picking up the tweeter covers to i can mount my tweeters and not mess up the original ones i have. Also got the sunroof/ map light set up to convert mine.
The Limited also had a tow hitch on it which i took off with all the hardware and including the factory wiring. at the last moment i noticed it was a OEM tow package. The factory bracket that hols the wire harness is a bit mangled up but i plan to straighten it and repaint it to make it look new if possible

been a while since i have updated. not much has changed but this past Sunday i did my 99 center console upgrade couldnt be happier

now all i need is a 99 rear view mirror and i can install my 99 over head console

So yesterday i was finally able to get mite tires, wheels and lift all on.

WTF toyota???? could you make the rear shock top mounting point any harder or more ridiculous?

other than that it was all a smooth install took me all day in my yard no power tools or lift. straight hand tools and dirt

so Sat 15'th i took the t4r on the first trip out to Fort Fisher beach for the C4R seaside beach meet. and of course i forgot to take pics lol

at least i got to break in the new suspension with all the bouncing on the beach and caught air at least twice

so Tuesday 18th my wife calls me to tell me the t4r is running really rough and is lacking power. When she gets home from work i hook up the scanner to find a p0304 code: misfire on cylinder #4:faint:

so in the morning i go get new NGK plugs and wires. praying its not a bad coil, injector or worst case head gasket.

While installing the new plugs and wires i removed the ecu fuse so it can reset. on the last plug i end up droping a old one in the bay and it disappeared, so i crawled under to see if i find it nope its gone.

but i did find out that i must have ripped or stretched out my front cv boots and now there is grease all over it :Cry:

good new is my TBU came in same night thanks powerstop

fianally got to install my TBU and front brake lines last week. also had my little helper come by lol
