sport edition 06 price - believable?

friend called from mid New Jersey. he's offered a new 2006 4Runner SE v6 4wd, leather, sun roof, 3rd row seat - all for under 27,000, plus TTL. does this sound too good to be true? i thought SE never comes with 3rd row seats. it costed me 2k more a year ago to get the 05 SR5, with no leather or sunroof.

Does sounds a little too good to be true. Is it a demo or something? Does it have any mileage? I would definately go over it with a fine tooth comb. That should be about $40ish.

That's a little fishy, Sport Editions don't come with a third row.

The truck you described sounds more like a Limited, but $27k is definitely not Limited territory. If anything, it would be SR5 territory, but with the leather and third row, that would make for a good price.

Sounds like a SR-5 with aftermarket leather.

If it is a Sport without the 3rd row, that's a killer deal. V6 4WD Sports here usually sticker for $35k with similar options.

It can not be a SE model. 3rd row seat is just not possible for a SE.

Leather is proabbly aftermarket dealer installed. It happens in NJ.

I was able to bargain a SR5 model. MSRP around 32~33K to 275/28K. I got a SE around 31K. (Before Tax). (I think it's a pretty good price base on what I've read.

I think the price is very good. If you wait a few more months. (when summer gas price kicks in.) I expect more dealerships to try to sell way below invoice.
