Sport Edition Hood Scoop Damaged on my 07

Well it looks like a rock got the better of my sport hood scoop on our black 07 SE.

*insert swears here*.

I need to replace the larger plastic housing (the metal grill, etc is okay). I've attached a picture of something similiar that I found on this wicked forum It's the large top piece.

Any ideas? Should I go to the dealer?

Sorry to hear that... you'll probably have to go to the dealer to replace it, I don't know where else you can find it in the aftermarket.

However, you should check some of the more popular dealers that advertise here because it might be cheaper even if they have to ship it to you.

Sorry,that's a dealer only item but call a couple of Toyota dealers and get prices since some do charge more.

Man that's an old thread!

Yes I did order, from one of the Toyota Parts Dealers on here, a hood scoop.

Came Cracked so I returned it and asked for another one.

UPS tried charging me 50 extra dollars for the return delivery since i live in Canada ( WE Canadians now realize UPS are just crooks...anyways)....the 2nd replacement I rejected because of the 50 dollar bogus fee from UPS since it was clearly their fault for breaking the first one.

So NO I never did replace the scoop....now I'm at 100K kms and don't care
