SPOTTED! Winch bumper for a gen 4...

Happy Holidays, I'm up here in Sun Valley, ID with my '04 V6 Spt Ed. tearing up the snow with my new Revos... The car is perfection in the snow. But enough about that, I was standing on a corner in Haliey and a silver '04 sport with the drives by with black rims, a huge roof basket and a bull bar with attached winch... I was stunned. I wasn't able to track the guy down, does anyone know who might of made this, or was this a custom installation... Sorry I don't have any pics...

I didn't think the '04's came with grey side molding. IIRC the '03's were the last year for it.

Actually, the first half of the 2003 models were it with the molding.

That 4runner should be in the mid west now but that's all one off safari gard custom.

He probably saw the ARB 4runner as that one is in the bay area. I could be wrong though

It's a modified ARB bumper to fit the 4runner. They apparently used that as a template to get the actual bumper working but I'm getting conflicting news.

ARB supposedly now have a 4runner down in AUS so I guess there's no need to send the bumper back and forth now. But even this is unreliable... Go figure.

This should be the one that went around the SEMA shows though. ARB basically modified one to work for the shows and that's it. Bottom line... nothing yet for us.

But I'd say keep on spamming them like crazy Apparently they love to hear from us.

Well guys, I did get a hold of the guy and it was a 4runner.org member who I saw. It wasn't an ARB bumper, it was custom made by Safari Gard. Check their site, www.safarigard.com
