Spring Height Help

Picked up a 99 limited over the weekend, Pretty clean 3 owner 170K miles,
Don't know the history of the suspension so I ordered new OEM ball joints and tie rod ends, The problem is the the 2nd owner installed taller springs up front but left oem in back, 1" taller up front, I want to return back to stock height and level out.
Other than OEM what is a good stock height spring front & rear?

What's the hub to fender height front and rear? 20" standard, 21" is 99 talls. OME 906 will get the rear about 22". A little higher rake in rear is nice.

From the center of the hub to the lip of the fender Front-23" , rear-21.5"
I am looking to get back to stock height,
I measured the spring and it is 1" taller (compressed) than my 96, Someone installed different springs up front.
They did put Bilsteins all around.

The front needs to be brought back down. The rear seems ok for OEMish. Does the front have spacers and/or what notch are the front Billies set at? Assuming the billies are adjustable.

The front has no spacers and the shocks are 4600 series non adjustable,
I believe someone put a taller spring up front.
My goal is to bring the front end down, I'm thinking I need a new set of springs up front? Most all out there for the front are a taller spring, Is the moog 81088 a OEM height spring?

You can put new 99 front springs or even a set of OME 880's. Should get you about even with the rear.

How about a pic of truck and front spring/shock?

Not sure, maybe you can find in forum search. Can always go adjustable and get it to whatever height you want.

Congrats on the purchase.

I just pulled a set of OEM springs out of my 98. 185k mile truck from California, no rust on the springs. See pic. Tires in pic are 265/75/16 (31s). Springs looking for a new home, PM if interested. I'd have to look at color codes, and I can take pics of springs.

Only thing I can imagine that might be weird is if the perch height is the same on your Bilstein shock as the OEM shock.

Would really like to get it back to stock ride height, OEM spring are kinda pricey but if that is the only way to go?

your rear looks a bit higher than stock too. front is definitely looks higher than rear, but it's not crazy.

Funny, the back look like the original springs, yellow/red paint stripes, & has the same series bilsteins as the front.
Don't bash to hard but I see moog has 2 front springs # 81090 & 81088 both say original height for a 1999? Rock Auto has AC Delco that give the physical size 10" when compressed, I think that is what I'm after? Any one have any experience with the AC Delco's
Could this truck have a body lift? Or would that lift it even front & back?

Maybe they are all factory '99 springs, but the rears have sagged, as they like to do. I was reverse rake with my factory springs, until I swapped the rears for OME 906s but kept the original '99 fronts. Nice and level slight forward rake if anything. Maybe that's what you should do. The factory '99 fronts are Blue/Pink(left) & Blue/Yellow (right).

Drivers side only has a single yellow stripe, pass side has no markings It does have a 1" paper tag wrapped around 1 coil can't read it though? Front springs look to be fairly new.
The front is sitting an inch higher would the OME springs level it out? How has it affected your ride? Not to stiff?
Will not be doing any hard core 4x4 mostly snow.

Just do an OME 880/906 spring swap and be done with it. Will end up with a very mild lift over what your 99 came with stock and it will drive much better. Or you can just put 906's in the rear to start with and see how she looks. Easier to put in rear springs too.

If the front springs & (4) 4600's look revatively new just put 906's in the rear & you should be level. You can get them used in the classifides here for $60-$80 used, or buy new if in a rush. That front is definetly lifted, not just a saggy rear.

I installed the OME in the rear only, After a few weeks the truck sits 22.5" from center of axle/hub to fender, on all 4 corners (this is a limited if it makes a difference) So I am guessing I have about a 1" lift? I have no idea what spring is on the front.
