What's the situation on camp fires and firewood? I plan on bringing a couple of DuraFlame cheater logs and can also steal a bunch of good seasoned logs from my house firewood stack, but I don't want to run afoul of PA state park policies if that's a thing.

Bring wood please.
I hope everyone is excited as we are for this trip!
My wife and kids are already packed!
I highly recommend everyone who does not have a zero degree sleeping bag or hasn’t slept in these temperatures procure a mr buddy heater. The heaters use a significant amount of gas, our buddy xl goes through 20lbs of propane in 3-4 nights on the medium setting.
So, about the buddy heaters, is it safe to run one inside the car overnight? I have a nice but old 0 deg. bag and I'll also bring a 15 deg. bag as well in case. You've got me a little worried now however, and it sure would be nice to have the extra warmth.
Also, if anyone wants one Walmart also has them in-store for $69 like Amazon.
If you get too cold you can start the truck and blast the heater.
redshift83 I would think you'll be ok without a heater. IIRC the winter trip over New Years with carlos.elmotor had lows this cold.
For reference my setup is 1 1/2" thermarest self inflating pad, 0 or 15 deg sleeping bag (bought in '88 from LL Bean) with a fleece sleeping bag liner (~15 bucks at Dick's) -- I've slept in my truck with this setup down to 30 and was super comfy.
On the winter trip (I think it was low 20's), I had 2 comforters in addition to what's listed and it was way too hot, I was a sweaty mess in the am,
I'm going to throw one comforter in this time just in case... YMMV.
I'll be missing this whole trip. I have to go house hunting in Illinois as I am moving next month. Thanks everyone for responding to the last roll call, I need one more piece of information.
