Took Jason up on this. Sent him a text. Prompt reply back. Walked me through the product over the phone and sent payment. He shipped it out right away and he states I should have it by Friday! That's customer service.

Potential Dangers might include:

Driving someone who gets carsick easily? Turn it off. Driving any other time? It's safer and more fun to leave it in Race 9.

Also, letting someone drive your car and leaving it in a high setting. They will probably just think the car is "touchy" though...



I'm no mechanic but it won the SEMA award which I would assume it would not have earned if potentially dangerous for the engine. Engines work better under load and realistically, this device is no different than what is happening regularly when you press the pedal, just with no delay. I'm curious to see what any mechanics may say especially those with experience with throttle mapping controllers like these and the effects of a rapid throttle-body opening vs the factory slow response.

I love mine. It works just the way my wife’s BMW X2 works from the factory. She can choose between eco mode, comfort mode and sport mode. Eco mode is pretty much how the 4runner is stock....horrible throttle response chasing fuel mileage. Comfort mode is BMW’s normal mode which I equate to my setting of green 9. Sport mode gives a response that equates to my setting of red 5. Sprint booster is simply an aftermarket solution to what many automakers offer in stock form.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. Now, I do have the Sprint Booster for the BMW X2 and I've gotten great feedback from customers. The eco/comfort/and sport mode in the BMW only unlocks a small portion of what's available. The sprint booster in the X2 makes the power fully unleashed. It's night and day difference. If you're interested, I'd be more than happy to hook you up with one at a discounted rate for a return customer

Just wanted to throw my $.02 in here. Got my Sprint Booster soon after ordering and the install was straight forward. After a few short road trips I’d say that I like Green 9 for normal driving. I can certainly tell the change in acceleration and the vastly improved responsiveness of the ol’ girl. I’m glad I bought this thing.

Was wondering why my 2020 sr5p was so sluggish. Even started to look at used sequoias thinking it was the v6. Now really thinking it is just the brains and not the guts so ordered sprint boost just now from Burtman. From what I have read and been told, this will fix my complaints.
 
Just checking in. I haven’t taken delivery of my 2020 yet, but from what I read this is one of the most popular mods.

How long will this sale be going on? I expect to take delivery in the next 2-3 weeks, but anything could happen and the sale could fall through.

Just got my Sprint Booster in. The install was super easy, hardest part was figuring out where and how to mount the controller. I ended up cutting a small "u" notch out of the bottom of the blank to the right of the steering wheel and running the cable in the notch. It fit perfect, is out of the way, easily seen and adjust from that location.

The test drive was surprising. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference. So far green/Sport mode at the 5 setting seems to be my favorite for around town but I'll play with it more as I drive more.

I've had a few ask about this the mini controller. It connects to the plug like an aux cable. Simple. I think it looks cool when it’s on at night, but if you don’t want to see anything and want a stealth install, you don't have to hook up controller at all. Once you set it, it remembers the setting (even if your battery dies) and never needs to be plugged in unless you want to be able to change it later but I always leave mine on the same setting,.
 
I'm sure this has been answered before but wanted updated opinions from those with Magnuson superchargers how compatible these are.
