Sprint Booster DEAL for 5th Gen 4Runner

I have had the SB for a couple of weeks and the difference is noticeable. I don't believe it is "faster" but the throttle response is vastly improved after adding the SB. Before it was "laggy" (for lack of a better term) and now it is responsive. When I would get on highway, I'd have to plan to mash the pedal to the floor to get out and now I do not, I can just go without having to plan ahead. All the SB does is reduce the time it takes for the throttle body to respond to your pedal input. Before it felt like it was thinking about it and now it simply responds.
If you are on the fence, nothing is hurt to give it a shot, Jason gives you 30 days to decide and if anything happens or you have questions, he actually answers texts and answers the phone to support.
I am keeping mine and I keep it set at Sport 7 FWIW.

I've had a Sprint Booster for over a year now, you forget it's there after a while, but it's one of the things I would 100% purchase again if I was starting over on a 5th gen. It makes such a big difference in how the truck drives, much more enjoyable and rewarding. Every 5th gen should have one.

To be clear, I'm not convinced it makes it ultimately any faster, but in every condition other than at WOT it makes the truck better to drive. That's the best way to describe it. It unlocks the performance of the truck, feels more like it has the 270hp it's supposed to have, WITHOUT having to "just press the pedal harder". The truck is much livelier without having to drive like it owes you money.

The amplified throttle input signal sharpens up the transmission as well, downshifts more eagerly, in the right gear more of the time without having to use manual mode, etc.
 
Just placed an order with Jason for my 2020 SR5P. Comparing my 2020 to my brothers 2017, they both have a delay in throttle response. My wife has a highlander which the throttle response is amazing. Hoping this helps solve the 4runner issue. Looking forward to getting it. Will post update after i install.

Exactly. It makes it like a new truck. Now it actually feels like 270 HP.

Awesome. What's crazy is, I have one for the highlander and it will still make that one ever faster too, lol. If you think she may want one, I'll help you out on a deal for a 2nd order.

Installed mines last week and holy sh*t!! Now you really feel the 270hp! Much better throttle response. Sport 5 seems to work best for my daily driving. Thanks again Jason!

just installed mine on the 2020 sr5p as well. My what a difference. The 4runner is more enjoyable driving now. It was an easy install. I've liked sport 5 as well, Race is a bit much to me for daily driving.

My setup...yes, i only get 13.3mpg due to all the extra weight and lift, larger tires, has nothing to do with the sprint booster. Yep, my 2016 only has 17k miles on it and already had to replace the UCA's....off-roading and driving in a city that mimics a bombed country will do that.
