Hi Jason, I just bought some 4Runner parts from your website. Hopefully will hear back from you soon with regards from this.
Just spoke with Jason and pulled the trigger on a SB. Can't say enough about the experience thus far - knowledgeable on the product, the 5 year warranty and expedited shipping is great, and he even helped escalate the order 20 mins before the end of day so it shipped same day!

There have been some comments that these “tuners” such as pedal commander or sprint booster would result in earlier drivetrain wear or even failures. Is there any truth to that?
To be more specific, would it be problematic to add a Sprint Booster to a 2014 SR5 that has 340K miles on the odometer?

Also, no worries for the drivetrain. This mod makes these trucks have the same throttle response that non drive-by-wire vehicles have had since the beginning of time. All vehicles 2002 and older had a a mechanical cable to control the throttle body blade, which was instant. The Sprint Booster fixes the delay and makes every day driving easier. I've been selling them since 2009 and offer a 5 year warranty.

I bought a Sprint Booster from Jason Burtman about a year and a half ago. It works flawlessly and has been a great addition to my setup. There's a noticable improvement when hill climbing dunes. I've left it set at "Red Race 1" for the last year. It also somewhat cleaned up gear hunting on the expressway. The only thing I regret was how long I waited to buy one!

I can agree with that, the mileage is a little better. I believe it was in the 18s on pump gas when I installed it. It's just under 20 now but I've switched to rec gas over the last many months so not exactly an apples to apples comparison there... What's drastically improved is how much MORE I enjoy driving it! The throttle LAAAAAAAG and gear hunting on hills used to drive me nuts!! I cleared the tcm adaptive tables so many times but this 5AT never got much better. IMO the SprintBooster is the best way to address the how the 4R drives lifted on 275's. I'm considering buying another SB for my GX one of these days. It needs help with the 32s...

I’ve had the SB installed in my 2018 4R for over 4 years and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s really perked up that OEM spongy pedal lag. When you understand how the electronics work you realize any increased MPG is probably due to driver behavior.

Hey Jason, I will be driving with our daughter who has EB and the rest of our family to Atlanta for the Bi Annual Debra medical Conference for Epidermolysis Bullosa(EB). I see your offering 2nd air. Do you know what the actual turn around is from time of order? I ask because I have a tendency to make last minute decisions on things. We have been on long road trips before but want to see what the difference will be with the Sprit booster.
