Next Samsung Sprint phone with TRI band?
That's what I need to know
Likely be Note 3 with Qualcomm S800. GS4 may come back with S800 chip, but nothing official. If Note 3 is too big, then consider LG G2.

Just an update...Note 3 is NOT tri-band. Only tri-band from Samsung is oddly GS4 MINI. However, there is rumor of a GS4 tri-band coming thru...however, it will have the same internals as the current GS4 (S600 chip, not S800).
And although LG G2 is tri-band, i read a lot of issues connecting to LTE in pre-release models (given to Sprint employees or those with connections). So, it looks like G2 is not a good performer at the moment...hopefully, an update will fix it once it is introduced to public officially.

"Network Vision is already 68% complete. Network Vision is the upgrading the equipment at each site to NV standards. This is NV1.0. This will complete in roughly 9 months. And LTE 1900 (Band 25) will be added to each NV1.0 site when the appropriate backhaul is ready.
NV2.0 is adding Band 26 (LTE 800) and Band 41 (TD-LTE 2600) to every NV site. That work is just now starting for Band 26, and will not start for Band 41 until next year. So these new Bands are not slippage, they are just another phase to NV that brings even more to the network. NV2.0 is separate and added later to the plan. It's not a failure."

Nexus 5. You can buy from Google Store and then activate it at your Sprint store. From reading so far, you do NOT have to buy from Sprint (which costs more)...just buy straight from Google Play and it will work nicely with Sprint network. And YES, it is TRI-BAND. But, according to Sprint, it will come as single LTE band only...and then Sprint/Google will send an update later to make it true tri-band...this is also the case with GS4 Mini, HTC One Max, and LG G2.
iPhone 5S is dual-band...and will likely get an update the same way to activate the other LTE band.

What I would like is for Sprint to even mention when they're going to do a single thing in CO. Denver doesn't even show up on any list I've ever seen when it comes to them rolling out LTE. Maybe once we even get the first hint of something other than 3G, I'll start considering a phone that is capable of better.
