quick update...waiting for all the silicone to settle and then will bake the headlamp back together and set it all up!

wow, i like! that is for sure unique! those holes look great in there too. you have some skill man! Have you tested to see what the LED's look like while they're on?

yeah im not sure whats going on, its just the 2 adjustment bolts, the spring and the clip right?
i have some of those pads you put on the bottom of the chair i think i might put them to use if i cant figure it out. im sure getting sick of taking stuff apart lol!

yeah the blow dryer should work it may take a while but i think it would be a better option then putting in the oven. just do one side at a time. its much easier with 2 people. maybe your GF can hit it with the blow dryer while you squeeze it together.

While doing my retrofit, I decided to switch the turn signal lights with the daytime running lights. Thus now, the bottom rectangular turn signal lights are on during the day and the corner lights (next to the headlights) are the turn signals (indicators). When I first did this, when I signaled for a turn, the lights would hyperflash (blink very fast). However I went to Advanced Auto and purchased a hazard flasher for LEDs (Tridon EP 35). This seemed to do the trick since the turn signals now are of lower wattage than the big rectangular ones on the bumper. I like it!

haha thanks man! and yours look good too. projectors in stock housing look pretty badass.

and the LEDs are actually bright white (if that makes sense?). They are not blue at all, I suppose my camera is distorting the color. The D2S bulb is actually 5000K which also looks blue in the pictures but honestly isn't.

But yeah I think the camera alters the cooler kelvin rating whites sometimes I think a few other guys had that happen too when they snapped pics. But dang man I saw your write up. Your cutoff looks great! I'm waiting to wash my rig before I get some better pics too can't wait see them!

thanks for the compliment on the cutoff. some of the guys on the write-up were saying my cutoff doesn't have purple/blue color? (shrug)...I happen to like it!

I recommend switching to some 99/00 ones off ebay.

don't get clear corners unless you really like that look.

the ones I bought are stock replacement & shown on my grill mod thread. they were $30 each on ebay. I am running PIAA superwhite bulbs with them and loks great to me. I haven't posted pics yet though. I prefer the stock oem corners with good bulb to the clears.

wow man, that turned out great! it goes perfect with your rig. id say some smoke LED tails would look good on the back too. im actually going to get some myself here soon. good job though man

yeah dont worry about the color mod all i know is that it just makes it so when you hit a bump or a hill, other people will see a flash of purple or blue. nothing crazy thats going to make you see better.

Yeah, I want to get different corners but 60 bucks is alot of money for those small things! I was thinking about putting vinyl on them like I did on my tail lights

wow, that looks sweet! What color is that and is that rustoleum? Did you do a clear coat after you painted them? you're making me want to do this sooner than later!

SQ, I used the Rustoleum Flat Black High Performance Enamel. I then went over it with a lot of Gloss clear coat. It produced a look I really like, it wasn't too glossy, but not to flat either. It is holding up VERY well.'
