Went to the Pismo dunes and got sand everywhere inside and out of my 3rd gen 96 over the weekend. This morning when I turned on my front defroster it sounds like a lot of sand is jammed in the fans and is screeching like a loose alternator belt upon start up lol. Its only when I turn on the defrost fans this occurs. I also kept the defrost on for a few minutes and turned it off because of the noise hoping it would wear down, it didnt. Im not sure how to access these fans. Anyways, anyone have any idea how to clean up or fix the squeak? Thanks!
