squeaking noise

Hi everyone, my 2005 sport is having some squeaking noise everytime I go over a bump. I can't figure out what's causing the problem. Don't want to bring it into the stealer if it is an easy fix. Any help is appreciated it. Thanks!

You need to be a little more specific. Are these noises coming from the interior or the exterior of your 4Runner? What does it sound like?

Same problem

I've noticed the same noise coming from the rear seat on the right side. Haven't had a chance to investigate further but obviously it hasn't been that annoying YET.

In reply to the squeaks in the back seat...I get those too but it has always been because I didnt lock the seat back firmly. Try to relatch the seat it should fix the problem.

:iagree: I had the same noise and it was the passenger's side rear seat latch. Re-latched it firmly and it was OK.

Thanks guys for responding. Anyways, the noise is coming from the outside of the vehicle. The noise is created each time I go over a bump. I'm not sure if it is caused by the front or the back suspension. It sounds like a rubber ducky when you squeeze it softly. (that's the best I can think of, sorry) I know it is not the backseat because I don't hear anything when the windows are closed.

do you have a sunroof? If so, there are a few fixes I found on the forum that I plan on trying. Just do a search for "sunroof noise"

I'm currently trying to isolate my "squeak" also.
