Sr5 to limited trim

Just got a 2011 sr5 and am wondering if i can simply buy the limited chrome trim on the front and rear bumper from toyota and install or does this require new front rear bumpers?

Thats a first, most want to go from SR5 or Limited to Trail. To go from SR5 to Limited requires more than bumpers. How bout you start by buying my Xreas :wink2:

I am in Canada and dont have the chrome trim like a limited, it may be different in the US. I know it will take more to get a limited setup but it seems that this could be something i could do fairly easily without replacing front and rear bumpers and the sides.

I guess easiest thing for you is to find a Limited /US SR5 owner who wants to get rid of chrome and change trims : )
I got an impression though that front bumper of Canadian SR5 is different than US SR5/LE.

Interesting that you want to modify the look of the Canadian SR5 to look more like the Limited since most here would say that the Canadian SR5 has the best looking configuration (color keyed bumpers and trim without the chrome or low overhang of the Limited).

I always like seeing Canadian SR5's - post some pics if you have a chance!

Just a FYI........ Limited and SR5/TE door handles are not interchangeable. Limited's handles have a cutout with a circuit board and cover for the "touch sensor"that screws in on the backside. I saw the close up pics of the SR5 handles and compared them to mine that I had off to paint.

Not to say some modding magic couldn't make it work with a dremel and some epoxy though.
